Hiking Shoes

You’ll need a pair of hiking shoes; trainers aren’t suitable for long walks and rough terrain, especially when inclines and declines are present. For walks with steep inclines, it is recommended to select boots that have protection above the ankle, known as mid- or high-cut shoes. This provides added support to the ankles.

Budget Hiking Shoes

Hiking Poles

Anti-shock and adjustable hiking poles

Hiking poles provide added support and balance when walking across uneven terrain. Hiking poles reduce the amount of stress placed on the knees during long hikes; the additional contact with the ground distributes the load placed on the knees.
